Charism

The charism of the Celadoras del Reinado del Corazón de Jesús is to spread the message of love of the Heart of Jesus to all people through evangelization, service, prayer, catechesis, health support, education, and community outreach. They aim to make the Kingdom of Christ’s Heart present and known, especially among the poor, young people, and needy, living out simple charity and humble service in every place where they serve.

Short History

The congregation was founded on 25 March 1942 in Spain by Madre Amadora Gómez Alonso out of a deep desire to make known the Reign of the Heart of Jesus in the world. From its beginnings in post‑war Spain, they have grown into a missionary community with presence in multiple continents. Today the Celadoras are established in Spain, Peru, Mexico, Kenya, and Tanzania, carrying out evangelization, pastoral work, education, and social services, reflecting their founder’s vision of humble and joyful service to Christ and neighbor.
