Short History

The Marian Fathers were founded in 1670 in Poland by St. Stanislaus of Jesus and Mary Papczyński, becoming the first male religious congregation in the Church dedicated to the mystery of the Immaculate Conception. Their early mission focused on Marian devotion, prayer for the dead, and pastoral service to the poor and abandoned.
After periods of suppression and near extinction in the 19th century, the congregation was renewed and expanded internationally. Today, the Marian Fathers serve in Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania, continuing their Marian and Divine Mercy mission in parishes, shrines, schools, and media apostolates.
